To suitably suppress the occurrence of "rutting" in a paved surface by increasing the flow resistance of an asphalt mixture by a minimum amount of sheet members.

An asphalt paved road having at least one lane L1 includes sheet members 4 which are buried in a surface layer 3b in the direction in which vehicles travel on both sides of the lane L1 in the width direction corresponding to the traveling positions of the right and left wheels of the traveling vehicles. The sheet member 4 is a cloth or a nonwoven fabric formed of natural fibers, inorganic fibers, regenerative fibers, synthetic fibers, or semi-synthetic fibers. The sheet surface 4a of the sheet member is perpendicular or tilted to the width direction of the lane L1.
