To provide asphalt roofing of high durability, and a roof structure.
The asphalt roofing is formed by sequentially laminating a resin film 1, aluminum foil 2, a resin film 3, a fiber sheet 4 and a sheet 6 containing asphalt as a main component. Heat from a roof material is reflected on the aluminum foil. Then, heat which is a large degradation factor of asphalt is not conducted to asphalt, thereby preventing the degradation of asphalt to obtain high durability. Further, the aluminum foil surface is provided with the resin film to prevent the oxidizing degradation of aluminum foil to thereby maintain a reflecting effect over a long period of time. A mechanical strength is enhanced by the fiber sheet on the rear face of the aluminum foil to attain sufficient adhesion to the sheet containing asphalt as the main component. Reflected heat can be efficiently released by forming the roof structure in which the distance between the asphalt roofing and the rear face of the roof material is 20 mm or more.
