Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the assay of cancer cell accurately and simply.
SOLUTION: At first a cancer cell in a culture sample is colored. Then, the image of the sample including the colored cancer cell is picked up. Thereafter, the photographed image information S is divided into a plurality of regions, and the image concentration of every divided region is obtained. Then, the image concentration of every divided region is computed for the entire region. Thereafter, the absorbance is computed from the computed value of the image density. The amount of the cancer cells C is determined by the obtained value of the absorbance.
