Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembled type rolling roll excellent in wear resistance and surface roughing resistance, having cracking resistance at the end part of barrel, and also excellent in breakage prevention at the end part of barrel.
SOLUTION: This roll is constituted by fitting and fixing a combined sleeve for barrel part construction, prepared by joining an outer layer 1 of ≥75 hardness HS to the outside periphery of an inner layer composed of cast steel or forged steel or graphite cast steel, having a chemical composition containing 0.1-2.0% C by weight ratio, by means of metallic bond, on a shaft material 3. Further, the end part of barrel of the combined sleeve is constituted so that the end face on the inner layer 2 side, excluding the part in the vicinity of a metallic bond boundary 4, protrudes by ≥5mm from the end face on the outer layer 1 side, consisting of the outer layer 1 and the inner layer 2 including the part in the vicinity of the metallic bond boundary 4 adjacent to the outer layer 1. Moreover, the end face on the outer layer side is inclined with respect to the plane at a right angle to the roll rotating shaft, and the outer layer is composed of sintered high speed steel material, cast material, build-up high speed steel material, or cemented carbide material.
