Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insert the main body of a capacitor into a collet chuck securely by conveying the main body of the capacitor toward a turntable, holding the main body at the upper part of an inserting groove along the guide-taper surface of a movable guide, lowering a pushing piece, forcibly dropping the main body of the capacitor with the movable guide being pushed and opened, and inserting the main body into a chuck member.
CONSTITUTION: A conveying guide 12 for aligning the directions of lead terminals 3a and 3b is provided at the upper part of a conveying rail 11. Collet chucks are provided on a turntable 21 at a specified interval. The discharging end of the conveying rail 11 is arranged at the upper part of the arriving position of a collet chuck 22. A fixed guide 31 is arranged so as to face the discharging end of the conveying rail 11. A movable guide 41 can be moved back and forth with respect to the fixed guide 31. A capacitor main body 1 is forcibly dropped between the fixed guide 31 and the movable guide 41 with a pushing piece 51 and inserted into the collect chuck 22. The fixed guide 31 is arranged in parallel with the axial line of a metal case 2.
