PURPOSE: To enable the captioned device to match mixed production of various sized cathode-ray tubes by performing positioning of welding electrodes on the inside wall of a panel relating to the axial direction of a panel pin and on the side part of the panel pin relating to the panel axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: The first slide mechanism 21 operates, a slide block 25 moves towards outside of a panel P in parallel with the axis of a panel pin PP1 by contraction of an air cylinder 26, and the first slide mechanism 21 stops when the first stopper 27 makes contact with the inside wall of the panel P. Nextly, the second slide mechanism 31 operates, a slide board 35 rises in parallel with the axis of the panel P by extension of the air cylinder 36, and the second slide mechanism 31 stops when the second stopper 44 makes contact with the bottom end side portion of the panel pin PP1. Nextly, an opening and closing mechanism 41 operates, a pair of chuck body 42a of an air chuck unit 42 close, and a pair of welding electrodes 43 pinch a clip holder H1 and a stopper 1 and starts welding process.
