Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correct a steering angle of a vehicle body automatically without stopping a vehicle body conveying line by arranging a steering angle correction mechanism, which extends left and right members constituting a steering device from the inside to the outside in the vehicle body width dejection by equal length respectively, on a reference table.
CONSTITUTION: An assembling device for a wheel is provided with a connecting mechanism including a jaw part 106t which connects a hanger 4 and a carriage 104 with each other when the hanger 4 hanging a vehicle body 2 establishes a specific position relationship with the carriage 104, which is freely movable along a hanger conveying line. A reference table 130 is mounted via an elevating cylinder 122 on a floating mechanism including a rotary table 120 which can be displaced freely in the horizontal direction of the X, Y axes, and a reference pin 134, which is engaged with a positioning means on the vehicle side so as to position the reference table 130 relative to the vehicle body 2 or the like, is provided in the reference table 130. A steering angle correction mechanism 150, which includes a link 152 and a slider 154, is arranged on the reference table 130 so that right and left knuckle arms 2n of a steering device 2x can be extended to the outside in the vehicle width direction.
