PURPOSE: To make selection of the quality of sleeve material attainable at will, by giving axial direction force to one side of sleeves and thereby changing its diameter to some extent, while applying a bonding agent thereto for tight fitting, in case of an assembling method of a compound sleeve making up its surface layer with materials of a different kind.

CONSTITUTION: When an inner layer sleeve 3 is pulled up in an axial direction with tension P, and outer diameter of the inner layer sleeve 3 becomes narrowed and legnthened in the axial direction instead. A bonding agent 4 is uniformly applied to an outer surface of the inner layer sleeve 3. After this bonding agent 4 is settled, the inner layer sleeve 3 is inserted into an outer layer sleeve 2. At that point that sticking between both inner and outer players 3 and 2 comes ample enougn owing to the bonding agent 4, load of the tension P is released. The diameter of the inner layer sleeve 3 tries to go back to its original form while the length being lengthened so far in a longitudinal direction also tries to go back to its original one, thus both these inner and outer layer sleeves 3 and 2 are bonded together.
