To provide an assembling method and an assembling device for a bearing unit with a one-way clutch enabling measurement of a radial clearance after the one-way clutch is assembled.
The assembling device is provided with a clearance measuring device 11 for measuring the radial clearance of a ball bearing 5 in such a state that the ball bearing 5 and the one-way clutch 4 are assembled between an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3. The clearance measuring device 11 is provided with a drive shaft 14 rotated by a drive means 13; an inner ring clamp means 15 for connecting the inner ring 2 to the drive shaft 14; a phase angle detection means 16 for detecting a phase angle of the drive shaft 14; an outer ring clamp means 17 for retaining an outer ring 3; a movable table 19 for supporting the outer ring clamp means 17 and capable of being moved; a load loading means 21 for loading a load to the movable table 19; an outer ring movement amount detection means 22 for detecting a movement amount of the outer ring when the load is loaded; and an operation means 23 for determining the radial clearance of the ball bearing from the movement amount of the outer ring.
