To provide an assembling method for a disk-like medium case by which a disk-like medium can be incorporated by the same automatic assembling machine into a plurality of kinds of disk-like medium cases having different case thicknesses.
In this assembling method for a disk-like medium case, the disk-like medium case is equipped with a case body 11 which can house the disk-like medium C and a lid body 12 which turns to the case body and can open/close the case body. When a plurality of kinds of the disk-like medium cases having different case thicknesses are assembled by the automatic assembling machine 50 while carrying the disk-like medium cases, the lid body is opened, and is developed together with the case body in a manner to be extended in a space between a pair of wall sections 51 and 52 whch are arranged on the automatic assembling machine. The disk-like medium C is housed in the case bdoy, and the lid body is closed. For a plurality of kinds of the disk-like medium cases, the developed total length L is constituted to be substantially the same, and an interval for a pair of the wall sections is determined based on the developed total length.
