Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the positional accuracy of a rotary cam by positioning in advance the rotary cam and mounting a motor in alignment with the cam. CONSTITUTION:A positioning semicircular small recess 23 is formed at each of two positions on the outer periphery of a rotary cam 13, and two pins 24 are stood on the upper surface of a mounting plate 10. Then, a step motor 11 is inserted into the central hole 14 of the cam 13 from the lower of the plate 10 at the shaft 12, and is mounted at the flange on the back surface of the plate 10 by suitable means, e.g., screw or the like. The motor 11 is then energized to secure the rotating position of the shaft 12, and the cam 13 is secured to the shaft 12 with clamping screw 27 in this state. Eventually, pins 24 are removed from the plate 10. Since the rotary cam can be accurately positioned on the mounting plate in this manner, it can be readily and efficiently assembled.
