PURPOSE: To make it simple and easy to assemble gland members in a gland hole by inserting the outer end side of a valve shaft into the gland hole from the opposite side of a sealing structure for assembling a drive system after inserting the gland members into the gland hole of an upper lid.
CONSTITUTION: A valve shaft 6 and valve plug 21 are joined in a body by welding beforehand. A spring washer 32, packing 31, packing 33a, gland follower 35, packing 33b, and retainer 18 are fittingly inserted into the gland hole 15 of a upper lid 13 from the upside, and a guide bushing 37 and O-ring 36 are fittingly inserted into a center hole 28 from the downside beforehand. The upper end section of the valve shaft 6 is inserted into the upper lid 13, which a gland member 30 is built in, through a thrust ring 46 from the opposite side of the sealing structure, that is, from the side of a lower end opening. Because gland members are thus secured before the valve shaft is inserted into the gland hole of the upper lid, gland member securing work can easily be conducted.
