Abstract:
To provide an assembling method of a timing belt which can alleviate a burden of a worker, and can suppress the damage of the timing belt.SOLUTION: An assembling method of a timing belt has a process for bridging a timing belt so as to cover a part of a pulley having a spigot part in a width direction, a process for fitting a tip part of the spigot part of the pulley into a camshaft after the process for bridging the timing belt, and a process for attaching the pulley to the camshaft by pressing the pulley into the camshaft. A position of the timing belt in the process for fitting the tip part of the spigot part into the camshaft coincides with a position of the timing belt after the execution of the process for attaching the pulley to the camshaft, and a length of the spigot part is longer than a length from a center of the timing belt up to the tip part of the spigot part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
