To provide an assembling type coffin capable of being easily transported to a necessary place to be simply assembled.
The assembling type coffin is constituted of a box body 4, an inner liner 6 and a lid body 8 all of which are formed from corrugated cardboard. The box body 4 is assembled by connecting panel materials made of corrugated cardboard by joint members 30. Each of the joint members 30 is constituted of a cylindrical joint member, a joint main body provided with a throughhole and having an almost L-shaped cross section and a pin member having a fitting part fitted in the cylinder of the joint member. When the box body 4 is assembled, the joint members are fitted in the hole parts 22 bored in the connection parts of the respective panel materials and the panel materials of this state are arranged so as to cross each other at right angles and the joint main bodies are brought into contact with the corner parts comprising the panel materials are the fitting parts of the pin members are inserted in the though-holes of the joint main bodies and the cylinders of the joint members. Accordingly, the box body 4 can be assembled in an extremely easy manner.
