Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly camshaft capable of simplifying a manufacturing process and suppressing manufacturing costs by fixing a cam lobe to a shaft with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In an assembly cam shaft 1, the cross-section of a fixing portion 2c is formed into the shape surrounded by a first circle RL, a second circle RM and line segments 23, 24 kept into contact with these circles, and a cross-section of a fixing hole 13h is formed into the shape surrounded by a third circle Rl and a forth circle Rm, and line segments 34a, 34b kept into contact with these circles. The fixing portion 2c is fitted to the fixing hole 13h so that a circumferential part of the second circle RM and a circumferential part of the forth circle Rm are agreed with each other, and in fixing a cam lobe 3 to a shaft 2, expanded portions 32, 32 are fixed to the shaft 2 by fixing members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
