PURPOSE: To improve the linearity of the conversion characteristic with simple constitution, by forming a strain inducer into a shape like a beam and forming arc-shaped stress concentrating grooves around the center of this strain inducer and attaching strain gauges to the back of the strain inducer.
CONSTITUTION: Two concentric circle-shaped grooves 14 and 15 are provided on the face of a disc-shaped part 13, which is connected to the outside circumferential supporting part of a diaphragm 1 as one body in the circumferential edge part, facing to the diaphragm 1. Two slit-shaped transmission holes 16 and 17 which are parallel to the diameter of the disc-shaped part 13 and are on both sides of the center of the disc-shaped part 13 are provided to constitute a band plate-shaped strain inducer 18 which has both end parts are supported and is formed to a shape like a straight beam. A transmitting bar 4 is fixed and connected to the center of the strain inducer 18. Concentric circle-shaped grooves 14 and 15 form arc-shaped stress concentrating grooves 14a, 14b, 15a, and 15b in the part of the strain-inducer 18, and strain gauges 19 and 20 are attached to corresponding parts of the back.
