Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the light-emitting diode assembly, in which a wiring is made easily and which is inspected, repaired and adjusted also easily, by executing minute work in a small area and combining the driving elements of the light- emitting diode. CONSTITUTION:The light-emitting diodes 4, 4, 4 are placed on the wiring patterns 3, 3, 3 of substrates 2, 2, 2 by conductive adhesives, etc., and one sides of the substrates 2, 2, 2 and the direction of alignment of light-emitting sections 5, 5... are made run parallel and the ends of the light-emitting diodes 4, 4, 4 are protruded from the substrates 2, 2, 2. When the light-emitting sections 5, 5... may be arranged near sides intended to run parallel because lead sections 6, 6... are set up in one direction to the light-emitting sections and the same light- emitting diode assembly 11 is disposed where opposite to the light-emitting sections so that the positions of the light-emitting sections are located mutually at half pitches, the light-emitting sections are arranged zigzag, and a head for recording double density can be manufactured.
