The assembly line 40 consist of: a first conveyance path 41 to convey a master pallet 31 and a slave pallet 32 aligned with each other, and to build slave components onto a master component 11 by a first group 106 of assembling machines; a second conveyance path 42 to receive the master pallet 31 from an outlet 41b of the first conveyance path, and to finish the assembly by a second group 108 of assembling machines, a third conveyance path 43 to receive the master pallet 31 from an outlet 42b of the second conveyance path, to remove the assembled mechanical devices, and to return the empty master pallet 31; and a short path conveyance path 45 to receive the empty slave pallet 32 at the outlet 41b of the first conveyance path, and to return it to an entrance 41a of the first conveyance path.
