Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently assemble an electric wire clamp with little position error by positioning and fixing a supporting rod having a clamp stopper in an assembly apparatus having a rod positioning member and positioning a plurality of electric wire clamps inserted in the supporting rod.
CONSTITUTION: A clamp stopper 5 is temporarily assembled in a supporting rod 1, the rod 1 is inserted in a rod positioning member 12 of an assembly apparatus C, a push-driven member 16 is pushed by operation of a clamp 20, and the rod 1 is brought into contact with end wall 15 to be positioned and fixed. The stopper 5 is positioned and fixed by a positioning face of a slider which moves on a guiding member 25 and is positioned at a prescribed site. The rear faces of a plurality of electric clamps 4 inserted in the rod 1 are pushed by a pusher 34 in which a paper sheet is inserted while a positioning face being set as a standard of a slider positioning face and the positioning of the electric clamps 4 is corrected every time the pusher 34 pushes the rod. On the completion of correction of the cumulative error of a clamp 4 for a final group, the stopper 5 brought into contact with the final rear face is fixed and thus chain-like electric wire clamp assembling work is completed.
