Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a conical roller bearing that prevents a small flange part of an inner ring from contacting with the rolling surface of a conical roller when assembling the inner ring into a resin holder with the conical roller temporarily inserted, and prevents damage from occurring on the rolling surface of the conical roller.SOLUTION: In assembly, an annular jig 20 is mounted on an axial end surface of a small flange part 12c of an inner ring 12. An outer diameter surface 20a of the jig 20 has a tapered shape. A small outer diameter D3 of the jig 20 is set to be smaller than an inscribed circle diameter D2 of a conical roller 13. A large outer diameter D4 of the jig 20 is set to be equal to or larger than an end surface outer diameter D5 of the small flange part 12c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
