Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method for an LNG tank, which makes a ratio of lateral welding greatly lower than ever, which facilitates assembly and which makes safety during work high, and the LNG tank assembled by the same.SOLUTION: An assembly method for an LNG tank, which includes an inner tank 10 for storing LNG and an outer tank 14 for housing the inner tank 10 and in which the inner tank 10 is formed as a spherical shell, includes the steps of: assembling a lower panel board 11, which configures a lower hemisphere of the inner tank 10, on a field assembling site and loading the lower panel board 11 on an inner tank skirt 13 installed in a construction position; and assembling an upper panel board 12, which configures an upper hemisphere of the inner tank 10, on the field assembling site and joining the upper panel board 12 to the lower panel board 11.
