Abstract:
To provide a lacing device and a non-limiting outline of structural elements of footwear supporting the same.SOLUTION: In an example, an assembly method for a footwear platform can include steps such as inserting a mid-sole plate, attaching a laced upper portion, and inserting a lacing engine. The step of inserting a mid-sole plate can include inserting the mid-sole plate into a mid-sole of the footwear platform. The step of attaching a laced upper portion can include attaching a laced upper portion to the mid-sole while positioning a lace loop in the mid-sole plate. The step of inserting a lacing engine can include inserting a lacing engine into a cavity in the mid-sole plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
