Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the expanding direction of an air bag positively with a simple structure by providing a slide guide at the base face of a retainer, putting the air bag to the slide guide, and covering and holding the whole air bag with a cover member.
SOLUTION: A retainer 10 has a bearing bracket relatively rising on both upper and lower sides of a base part. The base part has such area as to be able to place an air bag 20 in a folded state, and a slide guide 11 rising in the expanding direction of the air bag 20 is installed at a base face. The slide guide 11 is formed by bending the base face of the base part in bead shape. A cover member 22 is turned around to the lower side of the retainer 10 from the arranged side of the air bag 20, and a cover member 23 is turned around to the lower side of the retainer 10 continuously from a cylindrical part. Each end is fastened by a bolt through a fastening hole to cover and hold the air bag 20.
