Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the roundness of a drum by simple structure in a drum brake for nipping the flange of a hub between the disk of a wheel and the flange of the drum to join these disk and flange by a plurality of bolts positioned on the sane circumference with an axle as the center.
SOLUTION: An annular rib 14 is formed on the same circumference as the position of bolt holes 16 on the flange 10a of a hub 10 so as to protrudedly provide a contact surface with a drum flange. Ribs 15 in a diameter direction are formed on the same angular positions as the bolt holes 16 so as to protrudedly provide a contact surface on the same plane as the rib 14. A rib 17 having the concentric circle as the rib 14 is formed on the inner diameter part of the flange 10a of the hub 10 so as to protrudedly provide a contact surface on the same plane as the rib 14.
