To provide an assembly structure for a kitchen unit which enables a reduction of emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC), a separation of materials when disposed of, and easy remodeling.

A unit body 1 is constituted by attaching a surface material 2 to a metallic frame 4 by mechanical connection, and the whole or a part of the kitchen unit such as a cabinet is formed by connecting the unit bodies 1 mechanically. As a result, the kitchen unit is disassembled easily and the materials are separated by releasing the mechanical connection when disposed of. The kitchen unit enables the reduction of the VOC emissions because of no need to form the surface material 3 from a composite material and is remodeled easily by attaching and removing only the surface material 3.
