Abstract:

To reduce a road noise without deteriorating an assembling property of a rim.

A tire internal void 4 is formed in the periphery of a rim by mounting a pneumatic tire 2 in the rim 3, to constitute the assembly unit 1 of the pneumatic tire and the rim. The assembly unit 1 is characterized by arranging in the tire internal void 4 a sound suppressing implement 6 consisting of sponge material having 0.005 to 0.06 specific gravity.
