Abstract:

To easily and surely hold spectacles on the head when they are not in use by exposing and slidably supporting the temples of the spectacles outside support parts, and adjusting the band only by sliding the temples.

At both end parts of the band 1, support parts which are projected and expanded in width below a belt part 3 are formed integrally, and the support parts 2 have through holes 4a and 4b into the temples of the spectacles can be inserted slidably at an interval in the front-rear direction. To fit the spectacles to the assist band 1, the tips of the end pieces of the temples are inserted into front insertion holes 4a from inside the support parts 2 and then inserted into the rear insertion holes 4a from outside the support parts 2 to expose and support the temples 11 outside the support parts 2, and the spectacles 10 and assist band 1 are connected annularly. To use the spectacles in the annular shape, the temples are slid forward and backward by the right and left support parts 2 of the band 1 to adjust the size of the loop, which is clamped on the head with proper strength.
