To provide an assist grip capable of drawing and returning a grip handle with a simple operation without tilting and holding a covering lever by an operator, and easy to handle.

The assist grip has a lock device 17 as a handle holding means to hold a grip handle 13 at the handle non-use position when the grip handle 14 can be tilted between the handle non-use position with the grip handle 14 stored in a storage part and the use position at which the grip handle 14 is drawn out of a storage recessed part 11a to be gripped by fingers 5 of the operator, and a spring 16 as a handle tilting means to tilt the grip handle 14 in the direction of the use position by pressing the grip handle 14 to the storage recessed part 11a side from the handle non-use position to release the holding force of the lock device 17.
