Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type assisting device with a body drying function, which has a stand-up function and is convenient for drying the lower abdominal region, the vicinity of the buttocks, and a region between the toes.SOLUTION: In an assisting device with a body drying function, dry air blown by a dry air generation part is guided to: a first opening part which is provided on a seat surface side and blows the dry air to a local region and its vicinity; and a second opening part which is provided on the side of a footrest and blows the dry air to a region between the toes of both feet placed on the footrest and its vicinity. A seat surface for sitting is configured so as to freely make an erecting and lowering movement and a fixing: at a horizontal state position for maintaining a seated posture by lowering at a horizontal position; and at a diagonal state position for maintaining an erected posture by diagonally erecting the seat surface in a state that is low in front and high at the back. The assisting device with the body drying function, which is provided with a handrail member for assisting the erected position on the seat surface for sitting, excellently performs a body drying of the lower abdominal region, the vicinity of the buttocks, and a region between the toes, assists a user's standing, and reduces a working burden on a care giver.
