To provide an assistance device adapted to assist activities of people in the case of a disaster including a flood disaster.SOLUTION: An assistance device 10 comprises a strut part 12, and a movable part 14 configured movable with respect to the strut part 12. In the movable part 14, an apparatus connected to a battery 24 is provided. For example, a plug socket 22 is provided as a power supply part enabling power of the battery 24 to be supplied to the outside.
