To provide an assisting apparatus for determining whether rush is defective or nondeffective, capable of readily discriminating rush having a broken part when visually checked by supporting the bottom of a vessel part so as to enable idling to eccentric shaft, rotating a rotating shaft in the vertical direction and shaking the vessel part having the bottom, in which lower end sides of rushes are stored, in the circumferential direction without requiring labor of a worker.

A rotating shaft 32 connected to a driving motor 24 and rotating in a vertical direction is installed and an eccentric shaft 14 is attached in the vertical direction in a state fixed at a position which is eccentric from shaft center of the rotating shaft 32. A vessel part 16 having a bottom 40 supported so as to enable idling to the eccentric shaft 14 and having an inserting opening for vertically inserting rushes on the upper surface side is installed. The eccentric shaft 14 is moved in the circumferential direction around the rotating shaft by the rotation of the rotating shaft and the vessel part having the bottom is rotated around the eccentric shaft 14 to carry out shaking in a horizontal direction.
