To enable documents to be easily filed by a binder in such a manner that coating films are peeled from a double-faced adhesive tape, a booklet is pressed, and then, the central page is opened, and metal fixtures for pressing the booklet down are inserted.
This assisting utensil for filing can easily bind a booklet having a thickness on which holes cannot be provided by a punch for household in a binder in such a manner that the booklet is pasted onto a plate 1 by peeling the coating of the double-faced adhesive tape 5 on the right half surface, and the booklet is pressed by metal fixtures 3 which are fitted on the top and the bottom on the side surface of the plate. In this case, for the plate 1, the double-faced adhesive tape 5 is provided on the right half surface, and the left half surface of a vinyl sheet which is transparent and vertically long is press-bonded to the rear surface of the plate 1. Separately printed documents which are added to the booklet can integrally be stored with the booklet by placing the documents in a bag which is attached to the rear surface of the plate.
