PURPOSE: To accurately assort luggages with a simple system of automatic luggages assorting device as an airport and the like by recognizing the designated unloading point known by its destination by means of a street number in the moving direction of a conveyor.

CONSTITUTION: Upon receiving a luggage B, necessary informations are inputted to a destination designating device D. A control device records the informations in RAM, and switches on a light L of approval to loading if said luggage is not within such a distance as to cause mutual interference. Then a detector TS1 detects the loaded luggage B and the control device, in accordance with thus detected signal, obtains an address mark M on a conveyor C1 which passes by TS2 through operation by means of address information of the detector S and records if on RAM. Thus, address and destination of the luggage B are registered anew after facing direction is changed by a device T1 to be transferred onto a conveyor C3. Unloading is checked with a detecting signal obtained ahead of the unloading device and in case it is registered in the address, the unloading device is put into operation after recognizing coincidence of a destination and the device.
