Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the disarrangement state of the sheets which are assorted and piled in a paper discharge tray.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet edge receiving roller 42 for adjusting the rear edge part of the sheets piled in a paper discharge tray 37 is erected in a turnable manner on an assorting tray device 28a. When the paper discharge tray 37 is shifted in the lateral direction, a sheet edge receiving roller 42 in slide contact with the cushion 46 of the paper discharge tray 37 is brought into following revolution in accordance with the shift of the paper discharge tray 37.
