Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an astride nail having stable anti-pulling strength in spite of the hardness of ALC by forming protrusions for supporting a washer on the periphery of the center area in the axial direction of a leg portion, making the diameter of the distal side from the center area in the axial direction of the leg portion smaller than that of the leg on the head side, and forming a step portion for supporting the washer on the boundary between the distal side and the head side.
CONSTITUTION: In an astride nail 1, protrusions 12 for locking a washer 7 fitted from the tip is provided in the position adjacent to the center in the axial direction of a leg portion 3. That is, the washer 7 inserted into the leg portion 3 is contacted to and engaged with the protrusions 12, and in a members for opening the leg portions 3 inserted between the leg pieces 3a, 3a, the tip of a plate-shaped body 11 is contacted to the lower surface of fitting portion 9. Moreover, the outside diameter of the tip from the center area in the axial direction of both leg pieces 3a, 3a of the leg portion 3 is formed smaller than that of the head portion side. A step portion 16 for supporting the washer 7 is formed on the end of the head side by the difference between these outside diameters. Thereby, the restrain of the astride of the leg pieces 3a, 3a by driving the astride nail 1 into ALC is performed by locking the washer 7 by the step portion 16 when it abuts thereon.
