Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsymmetrical front flow fixed blade of a vessel capable of uniforming load distribution of a propeller and further improving cavitation performance in addition to propeller performance by installing the front flow fixed blade of various unsymmetrical types in consideration of the hull wake and rotation direction of the propeller.SOLUTION: When installing the front flow fixed blade 1 provided at a propeller front part of a stern to improve speed performance of a low-speed enlarged ship, the front flow fixed blade is installed so as to have an unsymmetrical structure of various types in consideration of the properties of the hull wake and the rotation direction of the propeller 2, whereby uniformity of the load distribution of the propeller is achieved as well as improvement in performance and reduction of the weight. Consequently, the propeller performance and the cavitation performance are improved remarkably.
