Abstract:

To adjust a frequency resonance point in antenna reflection characteristics by devising the shape of a planar antenna, and to expand the band of an asymmetric planar antenna, as compared with a band in reference to the specific band width of a rectangular patch antenna.

There are a feeding pattern 1 provided on an insulating substrate 4 or an insulating layer, and an antenna pattern 3 extended from the feeding pattern 1. The antenna pattern 3 has an asymmetric V shape with the feeding pattern 1 as the reference. With the configuration, the frequency resonance point can be adjusted in the antenna reflection characteristics, thus expanding the band of the asymmetric planar antenna to approximately five times larger than that in reference to the specific band width of the rectangular patch antenna as the reference.
