To perform calculations of a plurality of steps even without giving an instruction to perform a calculation from a client in each step.
An asynchronous circuit for controlling the timing of data transfer by a handshake signal line is provided with a task register 200, a handshake generating part 300 and an asynchronous finite-state machine 400, and when the task register 200 receives a calculation request to be turned on, the generating part 300 is allowed to repeatedly take a handshake with the finite-state machine 400. When the task register 200 receives a stop request to be turned off, the task register 200 has a function for prohibiting the operation of the generating part 300, and the finite-state machine 400 performs the calculation of the plurality of steps with data received from a client 100 as an argument and has a function for sending a stop request that stops the task register 200 in the last step of the calculation.
