To provide an at-hand wiring device of a table formed by detachably and position-changeably attaching a connection unit having an outlet such as a power receptacle that can be wired close at hand, at an arbitrary position of an edge member with an edge function and a reinforcing function, of a top plate.
A table is formed by providing, on a circumferential edge part of the top plate, a functional edge having the edge function covering from a side end face to a lower face edge of a top plate 1, and a reinforcing function consisting of a hollow body part to be attached to the lower face of the top plate. The body part 40 of the edge includes a locking rail part 43 facing rearward, that is integrally provided at the inside thereof. A connection unit 16 that consists of a connection box 74 formed with an outlet 76 at a front face for connecting a receptacle of a power code or the like, and a fixing bracket 75 to be fitted to the locking rail part, is detachably and position-changeably attached to the locking rail part by the fixing bracket such that the position of the outlet is located at a position retracted from the end edge of the top plate.
