Title:
ATHLETIC TOOL FOR HITTING BALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01166779
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly absorbed vibration caused by impact on hitting a ball to reduce its transfer to hand, by supporting a massive body by an elastic body fixed to a frame at an end and providing the elastic body to damp vibration of the massive body at the remained space of a hollow part. CONSTITUTION: A massive body 5 is mounted on a hollow part 4 surrounded by a transverse frame piece 21 and a letter Y portion 31 at grip portion. A piano wire 6 is hanged from a root of the letter Y portion to a direction of a ball hitting face and the massive body 5 is penetrated by the wire 6 to support. The massive body 5 comprises of a lead weight and is thinner than thickness of a frame, nearly rectangular and in a depress shape. The massive body 5 is fixed by laminating both sides of the letter Y portion with two plastic panels 7. A pair of trapizoid column gelling matter 8 is arranged by mutual facing at a suitable interval so as to position at both sides of and parallel to the piano wire 6 and contact a part of the gelling matter 8 to both sides of the massive body 5. Thus, the massive body 5 becomes vibrationable elastically with the piano wire 6 and its vibration is controlled and damped by the gelling matter 8.
