Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM cell making and de-cell making device preventing an ATM cell making and de-cell making device from overflow/underflow even when the step-out of a data frame is generated.
SOLUTION: When an abnormality monitoring means 2 detects the abnormality of the frame pulse period of STM data, a reading control means 5 reads an ATM cell at reading intervals at a normal time from a cell making buffer 1 in which STM data is written by a writing control means 4, and an abnormality processing means 3 maps an alarming cell to this read ATM cell.
