Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct charging processing by allowing a control section to request notice of charging data to a charging data processing section, storing tentatively the noticed charging data and generating and notifying charging information.
SOLUTION: Each of charging data processing sections 11 among function blocks provided respectively to an individual section, a common section 20, and an exchange processor section 30 is selected alternately and one section 11 has counters 11A, 11B counting a received ATM cell number by each transmission destination. While the counter 11A counts the number of ATMs, the other counter 11B of the processing section 11 counts the count counted so far as charging data and the count is informed to the common section 20. Furthermore, the processing section is requested of notice of charging data from charging information 21 at the end of notice. When the data processing section 11 uses the count of the counter 11A as charging data, the sum of the counters 11A, 11B is informed to the processing section 21. The processing section 21 stores tentatively the charging data and generates charging information based thereon.
