Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the transaction of payment through an account by storing the common description item of a first accepted slip and executing transaction processing while using the other slip, in which the common description item is not described, as the slip for which the same common description item is described. SOLUTION: The address and name of a customer are described in the 1st slip but there is no description in following 2nd and 3rd slips 21B and 21C. When the slips 21A to 21C are continuously inserted from a slot 30, their images are read and stored in a storage part 21. As a common description item 23, the address and name of the customer are separately stored so as to be also used for the other slips. In the case of transactions with the 2nd and 3rd slips, the image of the address and name of a paying person stored in the storage part 12 is synthesized with the images of read slips and transmitted by facsimile. When processing the 2nd slip, it is inquired by a customer operating part 13 whether the address and name are common or not. When they are common, the address and name of the paying person are processed as the common description item 23.
