Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent lowering of the yield at the time of atomized forming by executing the atomized-deposit while cooling near the top part in a preformed body.

CONSTITUTION: In this atomized forming method, jetting stream 5 of high pressure gas is blown against the dropping stream 6 of molten metal to make the atomization and the atomized metal particles are deposited on a base board 8 to obtain the preformed body 9, and while cooling near the top part in the preformed body 9 with desirably gas, the atomized-deposit is executed. As the cooling gas, inert gas of mainly N2 and Ar, etc., is used and injected from an annular nozzle. By this method, as the particles accelerated from this cooling gas jet are collided to the surface of the preformed body 9, the densely preformed body 9 having less porosity than the ordinary preformed body is obtd., and the yield to the sound part can be improved.
