Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the fraud of a telephone charge by means of a caller using an attached processor in a remote communication system having a call transfer function.
CONSTITUTION: This attached processor 16 sends an address to which a call such as an extension number is to be transferred and address termination display such as pound sign to exchange systems 12 and 14. Address termination display which is sent prevents the exchange systems 12 and 14 from receiving further address information from the caller 10. The caller 10 corrects the sent address and the call is prevented from being transferred to the address different from the sent address such as a long distance telephone number. Thus, the fraud of the telephone charge using the attached processor can be prevented.
