Title:
ATTACHING AND DETACHING METHOD OF SLEEVE PLATE TO PRINTING ROLL IN GRAVURE PRINTING AND PRINTING ROLL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57107841
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure easy attaching and detaching of the sleeve plate, by blowing the compressed air from a plurality of small holes provided in the same circumference of the taperless printing roll in the vicinity of the side of the attaching and detaching end for the sleeve plate and performing the attaching and detaching of the sleeve plate.

CONSTITUTION: Three or more small holes 4 whose diameter is 0.2W5mm are perforated in the same circumference of the hollow, cylindrically shaped, printing roll 1 in the vicinity of the side of the attaching and detaching end 1a for the sleeve plate, and said roll 1 is supported by a supporting stand 3. The air whose temperature is a room temperature W200°C is introduced into said roll 1 through a hose 5, and blown out of the small holes 4 at the pressure of 2W10kg/cm2. Thus the sleeve plate 2 comprising a thin film shaped multiple metal layers having a recessed cell 2 for gravure printing is expanded by the air blown from the small holes 4 within the elastic range. Under this state, the sleeve plate 2 is attached and detached. In this method, the sleeve plate after the insertion can be strongly fixed to the printing roll.
