To prevent errors in attaching IC cards when using an attaching device having attaching parts for a plurality of kinds of IC cards.

The attaching device has a device body 4 provided on its top surface with a first attaching part 5 for attaching a first IC card 100 and a second attaching part 6 for attaching a second IC card 200 and on its bottom surface with a third attaching part 7 for attaching a third IC card 300, with the first and second attaching parts arranged in parallel. The device body 4 is connected via a cable 18 to a host device such as a personal computer. The first and second attaching parts 5, 6 are provided with respective raised parts 8, 9 each of which resembles the planar shape of the IC card attached to allow the user to recognize the positions of the attaching parts by touch.
