PURPOSE: To provide the degaussing coil attaching device for cathode-ray tube which is superior in detachability without impairing the attachability of a degaussing coil.

CONSTITUTION: A part of a cathode-ray tube fixing screw 4 is knurled, and a molded article 5 where a knurled part 5a to be fitted to a knurled part of the fixing screw 4, a collar part 5b to detain a degaussing coil 3, and a cylinder part 5c to protect the degaussing coil 3 are formed into one body is inserted to and engaged with the knurled part 4c to fix the degaussing coil 3. Since the molded article 5 is left set to the cathode-ray tube fixing screw 4 at the time of detachment, the degaussing coil 3 can be detached simultaneously with detachment of a cathode-ray tube 2.
