Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent water from adhering to a key cylinder, and to secure stealing preventing ability without increasing the number of part items.

CONSTITUTION: Since in a state where a key cylinder 3 is fixed by a clip 14, the upper side of the key cylinder 3 is covered by a eaves 14h formed on the clip 14, water intruding into the inside of a door at the time of a rainfall or car washing is interrupted by the eaves 14h and therefore does not adhere to the key cylinder 3 not to give harmful influence. In addition, if the lower eaves 14h is formed on the lower edge of the clip 14, when the key cylinder 3 is actuated by incorrect unlocking input, the lower eaves 14h abuts on a door guard bar 15 to check the actuation of the key cylinder 3. Thus careless unlocking can be prevented without increasing the number of part items.
