Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a mechanical drive member such as a pulley or a sprocket from slipping on a drive shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A device for attaching a mechanical drive member 20 on a drive shaft 40 comprises a hub 10 having a hub member 14 and an elongated grooved member 12. The hub member 14 has a corrugated surface for attaching the hub 10 on the drive member 20 by engagement. A clamping collar 30 is used to attach the grooved member 12 on the drive shaft 40. The grooved member 12 has a rib 16 for disposing the groove thereof in a split portion 34 of the clamping collar 30.
